Govan was abuzz on Friday night as ‘Life is A Cabaret’ rounded off the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival for the 5th year running. It was my first time attending and I can safely say it was an absolutely fantastic night!
Stepping in at the last minute, the Johnstone Brass Band kicked proceedings off with some well-known numbers. They were followed by a flurry of talent; from singers to saxophonist and of course, not forgetting the Allsorts choir, whose atmosphere had all the audience joining in with both singing and the matching hand actions.
The night ended on a high with ‘New York , New York’ blasting out the Pearce Institute .
Can I reserve my ticket for next year now?
