Well Said! Don’t Hate, Animate
In response to a request to take part in a community Hate Crime Awareness initiative, we teamed up with Govan & Craigton Integration Network to research, write and produce a short animation which would provide an insight into what hate crime is, who is affected by it, and what you can do if you are (or someone you know is) a victim of hate crime.
The beautiful imagery was created by the project participants, with the help of the Portal Artist in Residence, Fiona Fleming.

PROJECT: Well Said
The ‘Well Said’ project has been developed in response to the ongoing requests from individuals with great film ideas who need help in making them happen. These creative media workshops, master classes and events provide local volunteers with the opportunity to learn new creative skills and enable local people to produce and share their own stories, films and articles.
Activities include an introduction to all aspects of film production – from research and development of ideas to learning skills for camera, lighting and sound recording and producing, directing and post-production.
So if you (or a group you are involved) with have a story you’d like to tell, please get in touch… no previous experience necessary.
