"STAND OUT" YOUNG COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR

Earlier this year the Liverpool based Comedy Trust invited us to take part in their "Stand Out" comedy program. Twelve pupils from across the Govan area worked with Plantation and Comedy Trust staff to write, develop and perform their own stand up comedy routine. In June, Shannon Murray, Scott Morrison and Corey McCafferty were invited to perform their routine in Liverpool's St George's Hall at the semi finals of Young Comedian of the Year. As well as performing to a packed theatre, the semi-finalists were interviewed for Channel 4 and made loads of new friends.

It has just been announced that Scott has made it to the final and will return to Liverpool on 4th of July for the final. GOOD LUCK, SCOTT!
