New Opportunities was made by a group of young adults to tell their very moving and compelling personal stories about their experiences trying to find employment.

The aim of the project was to offer young unemployed people the opportunity to take part in a project to learn filmmaking skills and at the same time, work towards finding employment.
The group researched and produced a documentary film focusing on the aspirations and expectations of young adults today and what obstacles and opportunities there are to gaining employment.

Several members of the team went on to find new opportunities in the job market and others have pursued enterprise and volunteering opportunities in the creative industries.
