Events + Festivals
Once again, we have some outstanding events coming up for you as part of this year’s Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival:
On Tuesday 20th October, come along to Gallery 966 from 1pm to 3.30pm for our CREATIVE STEPS EXHIBITION, where you can view some of the beautiful work that has been produced by the various groups working from Gallery 966 and our partner resource centres AND get hands-on with some crafts activities to try out for yourself.
On Friday 23rd October, we have our annual LIFE IS A CABARET at Kinning Park Complex from 7pm – 11pm. – A jamboree of music and comedy, featuring Dumb Instrument, Sand and Sea, Govan Allsorts, Bryan Tolland and the Seniors Film Club, Fee McKenzie, Rose & Danielle Leckie, Tom Orton and graduates from the Universal Comedy project..possibly one of our best line ups ever, we think! (Licensed event. Over 18s. Please note change of venue this year!)
On Tuesday 27th October, the premiere screening of WITH A SONG IN YOUR HEART will take place, followed by a screening of From Scotland With Love at the Pearce Institute from 7pm – 10pm.
Sit back, relax, and be transported back in time through an evening of heartwarming music and film from the vaults of the Scottish Screen Archives.
