Events + Festivals

From cosy film screenings to full-scale festivals, we believe that nothing beats a good get-together. Our annual programme is full of fun, FREE events for everyone: we run Pop-Up screenings in unexpected places, film premieres in world-class cinemas, music nights and cabarets, drama and theatre performances, parades, street parties, exhibitions, crafts sales, festivals and family fun days – inspiring celebrations of our wonderful community!

Check out What’s On to find out what’s coming up or have a look at some of our past events (maybe you were there!).

(If YOU are hosting an Arts event you’d like us to share, please let us know and we can add it to our Calendar.)

  1. Govan Allsorts Community Choir

An inspirational group of local people get together each week to join in voice and heart and make the world a little brighter.

  2. Govan Loves Xmas – Lantern Parade 2015

  3. International Women’s Day 2015

In partnerships with Plantation Productions, the Govan & Craigton Integration Network will once again be running creative arts workshops in a lead up to an exhibition as part of International Womens Day on the 8th of March 2015.

As part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival we are working with the Glasgow Community Health Partnership to deliver Jewellery Making Courses over a period of 8 weeks.

  5. Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival 2013

Once again we are proud to play our part in this year’s Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival. This national festival is the largest of its kind in the world, bringing people from all over Scotland together to help raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health.

  6. The Southside Premieres

As part of the Southside Film Festival 2013, Plantation Productions and Sigma Films/Jump Cut will be premiering their latest productions.
